Sponsorship of orphans

Of all the CAPP Foundation's projects, orphan sponsorship is the most important. Currently, the Foundation has sponsored more than 800 orphans with a permanent quota that covers their basic needs of food, water and clothing. This way they can lead a normal life like other children.

The amount of the sponsorship fee is 45€ per month, which can be increased if the sponsor wants.

Anyone who wishes to sponsor an orphan can do so by simply filling out the form on our website and sending it to us. Once the form is received, our sponsorship department will contact the sponsor to complete the process.

To facilitate the payment process, the sponsor can choose one of the following ways:

“Direct debit: This is the most suitable way, since once the sponsor provides us with his or her bank account number and indicates the day that suits him or her, the operation is automatically repeated every month.

“Credit card: The sponsor can pay the fee with their credit card through our website or grant us permission to debit their credit card account.

“Bank transfer: The sponsor can schedule a regular transfer or make normal transfers, and must put his name and / or the number we assign to each transfer.

Can I sponsor more than one orphan? Yes, the sponsor can sponsor more than one orphan and double or increase the amount of the fee if he/she wishes.

If a person interested in sponsoring an orphan cannot do it alone for financial reasons, they can form a group with their family, friends or colleagues. In this case, a member of the group is assigned as the person responsible for contacting our foundation and taking care of collecting the money and depositing it in our bank account in one of the ways mentioned above.

Anyone living outside of Spain can sponsor one more orphan. All you have to do is fill in the form on our website and send it to us. Once we receive the form, we contact that person to complete the management.

Yes, the sponsor can choose which orphan to sponsor based on age, gender or other characteristics.

The sponsor can contact the orphan he/she has sponsored through the collaborating association by means of a programmed telephone call or group videoconference, via Skype, between the sponsors of an area and their sponsored children. Once a year, the sponsor also receives an updated report on the orphan and a letter written by the orphan. If, after a few months, the sponsor wants to obtain another report, he/she only has to inform us of his/her wish and we will ask the collaborating association for it and we will send it to him/her.

The sponsorship period can be open or set by the sponsor.

Orphans receive their sponsorship fees at the end of each quarter (e. g. , at the end of the year: January-February-March), after we have received the full amount in our bank account.

The orphan is placed on the sponsorship lists on the basis of his or her economic and social situation. Delegates of the relevant entity continuously visit villages, towns and camps in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Each case is carefully studied and the orphan is registered in the database to await sponsorship. Namely, the orphan’s details must be complete and accompanied by official supporting documents.

Every quarter, we transfer the sponsorship fees by international bank transfer from our bank account to the bank account of the partner association. Afterwards, the collaborating association sends us a receipt and a register of signatures which contains the signature of the guardian (in most cases, it is the mother or, exceptionally, the grandfather or grandmother), the amount received and the date.
